The people have spoken, Boris and his party have lost two important by elections. Boris's own MPs were too frightened to get rid of him so the public have taken over and are going to do it for them.
Also the resignation of Oliver Dowden sent the Tories a message.
No Tory seat is safe anymore. These By election results will seep like poison through the Tory parties blood stream The exuses will start to be heard . But statistics are hard to ignore. This could be the beginning of the end of power for the Tories for decades. I hope.

In British politics there are now two blocs, the Tories and the anti-Tories. Take Tiverton. In the last two elections, Labour came second there. But in this by-election, they lost their deposit as their vote share dropped by 16 per cent. This isn’t because voters in rural Devon are particularly unpersuaded by Keir Starmer but because anti-Tory voters...

Meanwhile Boris is on TV sitting in a classroom of ten year old school kids in Rwanda. Why does Boris spend so much of his time with school kids even in the UK.
Is it because they believe his lies and fairy tales or does it give him a feeling of superiority.
Hes already thinking how he can earn a living, hes working on becoming a childrens clown. Hang on :))
^^^that’s hilarious.

You’re a marvellous insightful wit - you should take to the stage with that fantastic material…said no one ever.
Glad you like it. Many thanks.

//these are the words of staunch dyed-in-the-wool Tories who have held office in government. //

/Haha! The traitor that was Theresa May was one of those too. :o)/

Lol, the United Tories eh? Backstabbing and backbiting each other at every opportunity while Rome burns.
So for you it’s Johnson or nobody?
148 traitors to boot, where will all this in-fighting end?
Your mindset and theirs proves one thing, you just can’t trust ANY Tory, can you?
The guy in the top job is a proven liar and serial adulterer who has misled Parliament.
The public and party know it and are showing their disproval, at last.
Spot on Fatt 10.07
You will be asble to vote them out in 2 and a half years time, fatty.
I feel another visit to Ukraine coming on,might even be a direct flight from Rwanda save coming home to face thr music.:))
The issue still remains, that of no other you might trust to take over is either in a position to, or has any interest in doing so.

Boris and his cabinet needs to sort out the issues they were elected to fix, such as immigration, border control, Irish border issues, in fact all lose ends around since we left the EU, removal of the inexplicable internal trade border, relief for citizens from Covid & Russian war generated economic difficulties, whilst continuing support for invaded countries, opposing evil tyrannies, ensuring trade agreements respect our standards, etc. etc. etc.

That’s it though, isn’t it? Trust. Nobody trusts the PM to sort anything any more, the EU don’t trust him over Brexit, nor do the people of Northern Ireland.
The public don’t trust him, Parliament don’t trust him and 148 of his own MP’s don’t trust him.
Dress it up however you like, Fred Karno could make a better fist of things atm.
ANYONE is deemed more trustworthy than the current PM.
so who do you think should replace Boris, fatti?
The public trust him and his party over any apparent alternative. The EU hasn't lost trust, they are playing politics knowing the problems they deliberately cause. For remainer anti-democratic MPs it's not about trust, it's about "Get the Brexiteer". If NI don't trust him I doubt they could agree on a) who they collectively would trust and b) collectively agree to a solution. No, a little misdemeanor over disagreement about what a party is, nor understanding how priorities must be juggled so no one can get exactly what they want, is really going to be a trust issue, more disappointment & complain issues really.

Harper, Tugendhat or Ellwood.
Whether they’d want it is another matter.
