Boris will go down in History as the P/M who
.............Didn't Get Brexit Done just left the UK in a state of Chaos.
What a shambles you have caused Boris. Go now and let the Country start repairing the Damage you have done.

17 .55 Thanks,
To call the UK in 'a state of chaos' is absurd, and the country is not' in a shambles'. Daft.

Let's face it .Brexit is an absolute shambles, and now the price has to be paid. Chaos at the airports, Trucks queueing at the docks, cost of living gone through the roof. Electricity bills, fuel prices empty shelves in SuperMarkets etc etc and don't try and blame covid or the new european war ,it is all down to Boris getting Brexit done . You Brexiteer fell for it
yawn...
Let's face it, some remoaners can't seem to help themselves coming out with nonsense. They fell for the anti-Brexit propaganda and now can't stop themselves trying to justify both it and their misguided stance. It's rather sad really.

yes, pretty much sums up whats happening all over Europe, even in the EU.... even where you live gulliver
gullivers clearly a Brexiter trying to make staunch Remainers look like sore losers and/or desperate idiots clinging on trying to convince theirselves they were right all aong.
We lost, get over it, move on and make the best of it

19,59 BIW . Would you like to be more explicit and tell me who ,,,"WE" are please.
Easy- 'we' are them like me who wanted so much to Remain but we accept we lost the vote and theres no point in trying to turn back the clock or cry that we we were gullible enough to fall for it

Blubster @ 19.39 ,, "Yawn",, I can not yawn at any of your questions , because in the eight years you have been a member of A/B you have never posted any, and it seems like you find it difficult to answer one.

Wonder what would happen to the vote in the next G/E if the opposition promised to rejoin the E/U in their Manifesto .
Perhaps this thread can be concluded with a list of the main Brexit benefits to date:-

- Blue passports
- The Crown Mark on pub glasses
- Mobile phone companies able to make roaming charges
(when using your phone in mainland Europe)
- Killing our honey-bees with EU banned pesticides
- Not having to insure ride-on lawnmowers used on private land
- Signage within Dartford tunnel spaced at yardage distances (in round numbers)
Hymie as always you missed off' 'We're out' which is what the majority voted for. We lost... theres no turning back, get over it, make the best of where we are.
Add to the list that we are no longer dictated to by an unelected federal block's elite, and have regained much of the control previous politicians didn't value so gave away without asking. (We still have to deal with them though, and the present government's policy seems to include being reluctant to trigger that which needs to be done.)

The Present Tory/Con Govt ,has spent £450m of taxpayers money on facilities to handle post Brexit checks That has never been, or likely to be used.
One of these facilities stands at Portsmouth at a cost of £25m which was to be used for checking imports of Animal , Plant and Forestry products arriving from the E/U The Building stands empty , and no staff recruited. Just another one of Boris's Barmpot ideas.
NJ //I expect "material good" to flow in due course as the UK's future as a normal nation pans out. //

Well I hope that happens.

In my industry we are losing business to our European rivals simply due to cost and complexity of doing business. Research funding and collaboration with access to the worlds best (and yes, not all of them are British) people and technologies is no more - and the UK government have done nothing to address this, sadly I don't think they even know how to.

There's a bit more to the modern world than turnips.
So we endure the grim reality of the present for the sunny uplands of the future.

How often does jam tomorrow ever happen?

22.50 JDavis, as the Brexiteers all go skipping and dancing over the sunlit meadows of Brexit as Boris promised them, if they vote for him.
Blue passports ? …………. That’s a great achievement
