The usual response with personal insults rather than factual argument.

"We send the EUSSR £350 million a week
Let's fund the NHS instead.
see , statement + suggestion. Show me the promise.
It's incredibly naive (or disingenuous) to believe this wasn't intended to deceive.

Still, never mind, it's all turning out well.
It was saying that instead of giving the EUSSR the money we could choose what to spend it on ourselves. Don't know why so many seem to find that so hard to grasp. Ironically we are actually spending of £400m a week more on the NHS now.

15.18 Don't know where the £350m went to off the side of Boris's Bus ? probably to his crony club fund, but with the present state of the NHS, which is in a critical condition at the moment they didn't get it
JDavis, The people who came up with the slogan were not in a position to offer any promises. They weren’t ‘the government’. It was a slogan designed to suggest what could be done with the money saved. We’ve had this argument for years now and still people don’t understand.

I think the funding for the Brexit campaign came mainly from donations, Gulliver. On the other hand the government used £9 million of taxpayers money on Remain leaflets sent to every home in the country. But I’m sure you know that.

Brexit is done. Move on.
What you ‘think’ - or more accurately, want to think, is irrelevant to the reality, Gulliver.
OK, it wasn't a specific pledge but it created an expectation, as anyone with a basic understanding of psychology knows. Dominic Cummins said, after the vote, Leave would not have won without it.
(a) Brexit is obviously not done and (b) it is not necessarily the democratic will of the people as is often expressed.
