What I find interesting is that I have (maybe unbelievably & for the first time) trawled all the way through this thread to discover that of the 251 posts, Trump's antagonists constituted only 3 women the other women posting totalled 2 for him (& one of undeclared gender).

All the men (except for a sensible few good guys) are not just mildly anti-Trump, but it appears vehemently so. Is this something peculiar to AnswerBank? because out in the real world of American voters he got 74 million votes.

They seem to pit their ire on such trivial matters as the interpretation of a few spoken words in a cache of millions which is not unsimilar to those castigating (usually the same cohort) Boris Johnson & his birthday cake etc.

Could there be some deep psychological reason for this 'outrage' against powerful, rich, privileged males?

Could such an irrational & emotive set of outbursts be laid at the door of jealousy?

I did say but either you don't listen or you don't understand, Fatticus.
For 250 years every hearing has been conducted in accordance with the rules. Ie. Half the committee chosen by the Republican Party, the other half by the Democrats.
While this is obviously the fairest method, it didn't suit Pelosi's purpose. So she picked all the members of the committee thus rendering it bogus.
