Gulliver is of course right. The population were told that basically when out of the EU we could choose who stayed here, who couldn’t and nobody could enforce their will on us, we were autonomous from the minute we left the EU. Brexit or not channel crossings have always been a problem, and no one has got a grip of the problem yet, my thoughts are that the government are not concentrating enough on catching the people traffickers.
