Think of her what you will but she'll need balls of steel to get through PMQs today. A gargantuan task.

She will - and quite honestly I feel for her. She looks quite unwell - like she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Just awful.
There's an old political quote "If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen".
Question Author
Naomi: she does look unwell. Politics is a cruel profession. May left No.10 crying, as did Thatcher. Truss is only human. I do feel sorry for her because she'll probably get verbally beaten up today.
I'm sure she will.
Sorry? Why do you feel sorry for her?
You ripped into May in another thread for not doing what she was supposed to do!
Yet you feel sorry for Truss?
I am at a loss!

How very predictable Canary. Full of the milk of human kindness.
As I said, the woman looks ill. You're all heart, RH.
I think we are on par Naomi!
Can't see how you work that out, RH. We disagree.
I think i know of at least one person who will be laughing loudly as he watches her squirm her way through PMQs;

We will all be watching for any weakness.
Question Author
Red: there's a woman behind the politician.
That woman is out of her depth and she allowed her ambition and ego to get the better of her!
She jumped in making promises she could never keep!
She Reaps What She Sows
//Red: there's a woman behind the politician.//

Would you be so sympathetic if it was a man?
I have zero sympathy for her. She ran her leadership campaign on everything she’s broken or ripped up in the short time she’s been in power.
A pure chancer clearly in way over her head, she hasn’t got and never will have in a hundred years the skill set required for the job.
Her parliamentary party didn’t want her and now not ever the Tory party want her in post, yet they voted for her 6 weeks ago?
She’ll be destroyed at PMQ’s(even by her own, Javid is asking a question) and she’ll crumble.
It’ll be the final humiliation and will confirm she’s finished.
What a fiasco and unmitigated disaster.
Agree Paigntonian, but she collects a fat salary to do a job. She must have known what she was getting in to after the Boris fiasco. Afraid she will just have to take the flack that is coming her way or step down and let someone else do the job.

Ken: Suppose we should be grateful that he didn't 'sink into depression' when people were shooting at him.
She was punching well above her weight when she aspired to the top job - I've always thought so - but I don’t relish the prospect of seeing someone who, to my mind, is clearly suffering, being pulled to shreds. I've seen people in the real world who have reached heights far beyond their capabilities ending up being wrecked. Not a pleasant sight. She should be kind to herself and resign. I don’t think this is one that she is mentally capable of riding out.
oh! is she still prime minister?
that's nice
For once I agree with you Naomi. She will be ripped to shreds from all sides today and if her health is already fragile, this could tip her over the edge. Is any job really worth this?
