Where would AB be without a bickering post, I have a feeling most love it on here and would struggle to get through the day without one. I so agree MissT. Posters like TTT currently and AOG and Mikey for example from the past would post lots of interesting news topics that generated discussion and even if you din't agree with them at least it made good reading and a chance to learn something. They rarely, if ever, put other contributors down in a real nasty way and generally swipe them off at the knees - and yes Fatti was/is particularly guilty of that. Posters should be able to say something in news without needing skin as thick as an elephant or being told to stay off the thread as if they're worthless. News really should be the liveliest category on this site but most don't want to venture in.

Despite working my way across a number of news sources sometimes it's interesting to see the standpoint of others, trouble is there are a few on here who are happy to take a stand when there's no point. From a deeply entrenched position you may feel safe but you are unlikely to be able to see more than your immediate surroundings.

If that’s the standard of Moderation it proves that the site(despite the donations) will go down the tubes. Too many whinging but not engaging, pure and simple. If you don’t like a topic, don’t post on it and start one of your own.

Yes, views become forthright but with no other response than all out attack then ABers will respond in kind.

Some of the Trolling bully boys on here would do well to study his exchanges with me and others.
