Brexit Poll discovers....Two-thirds of Britons now want a Referendum on Rejoing the EU . Now thats what I call a very good start to the New year . Common sense is prevailing at last. Brits now believe . The economy,
the UK's Global influence, and the ability to control their own borders have now got worse since Brexit ,the survey by "Savanta" shows.

Hymie @ 20.10 You have forgotten to mention the Crown stamp on pint glasses . TTT has one stamped on his forehead ..when he goes to a Pub he gets a fiver knocked of the price of a pint
I know this is one of those never ending Brexit argument threads, but, I lived and worked in Europe for many years before returning to Blighty to retire. In Holland mostly. I agree that nhs is a crock of *** from start to finish, as recent experiences in my local gp surgery and hospital have shown me. The Dutch system was based on ability to pay, I.E. if your earned less than a certain amount ( which was regularly and openly reviewed) it came free. Over that amount you paid on a sliding scale. The stem worked well and delivered what the people needed, when they needed it. Its not rocket science. The other Dutch politicians did not constantly sing the praise of their health service, whilst presiding over it decline, like our Lilyliveredlot do , whatever side they sit on. The overpaid wasters and band wagon jumpers in Westminster need only grasp the nettle, but fat chance as far as I can see.
NJ – I think you’ll find that us whingers are going to win-out in the end, when we re-join.
the first referendum was an absolute circus of deception and provocation that harmed this country in many ways…. do not fancy a repeat
//NJ – I think you’ll find that us whingers are going to win-out in the end, when we re-join.//

I think not, Hymie. But you never can tell. If the UK rejoins the EU it will be as a new entrant and the country will not "enjoy" the opt-outs it previously did and in any case by the time there is any appetite for it in this country, I doubt the EU will exist in any meaningful form. It needs to reform drastically to be of any use and that ain't gonna happen.
gulliver at 20.05, rubbishing the NHS. I have a friend in Spain who waited over 12 hours on a trolley in a Spanish hospital for a bed to become free, so is it that much better in the EU.

Johnson's decision that after he got Brexit done. he would easily strike trade deals with former British Colonies and it would be so much easier than the EU .That was Boris talking his usual load of ..Horlocks.
We will get massive trade deals with our friends in Australia and America which he has not. He certainly got the UK done with Brexit
Why this obsession that Brexit is all the fault of Boris, or indeed the Conservative Party. I would wager that the 52% that voted out was made up of supporters of Conservative, Labour, Liberal and supporters of other parties. They voted out for many different reasons and their vote must be respected because if it's not that would be the end of democracy.
Gramps82, there is no way gulliver will accept that explanation. As far as he and some others are concerned everything that goes wrong or they don't agree with is the fault of Boris and the Tories and what ever you do, do not expect to get an answer to a sensible question from him.

Gramps @ 13.44 "Why this obsession that Brexit is all the fault of Boris or indeed the Conservative Party"??
Maybe it was Because of an EX "Conservative" PM with the name of David Cameron, who called for the Referendum on leaving the EU, or Maybe it was because of another EX "Conservative" (Clown PM)by
the name of Boris ,who endorsed the result for his own gain to get elected as PM. Maybe that is why I think Brexit is the fault of Boris and the Conservative Party (Think about it.) I have tried to explain my answer in simple terms in order that Shedman might understand also.
Gulliver, if the people voted to leave the EU, whose fault is it really, the EU?
The referendum was forced by Farage, UKIP was becoming too powerful and threatened to attract millions of voters, Cameron promised the referendum as part of the 2015 campaign to save another hung parliament. He thought it was harmless enough because, like many, including me, he thought that remain would win and the whole episode would be put to bed. We know the rest.
Is it two thirds of Britons or two thirds of the people who were surveyed? I wasn't asked. I didn't vote for Boris or the Tories.
cashier, a more accurate way was having a referendum, the British electorate voted to leave the EU (and all
of its component).

Just look at the state of the NHS ."No Hope Service" . From one of the best in Europe it is now the worst. They have got the finance but are desperate for nurses doctors etc....Why!. Because you sent them all packing back to their own EU Countries when you were conned into voting Brexit It's called shooting yourself in the foot
//Because you sent them all packing back to their own EU Countries// Complete rubbish.
