after serving 8 of his 16 year sentence - do you think he could resurrect his music career? I still enjoy his records and would probably go to a gig if he did one locally. Or do you think he should be permanently outcast?

ModAnon perhaps that's because I put that in the post before you?
they're moderators, not monitors, just unpaid volunteers who sweep the floors in their spare time... I'm starting to bore myself now, really, I'm off to bed.
Night jno, I think I'll join you well, not literally.
I know they are unpaid. But as for sweeping floors? I very much doubt that. :-)
MODANON, "Discussion about who is or isn't a Mod is not relevant to the subject under discussion."

I asked the question in case I have misinterpreted what ANDRES has posted.
I read it to imply she is a Mod yet is not in the list of known Mods.

If I have read it the wrong way, that is my fault but I sought only clarity.

Getting back to - - do his victims still suffer
Radio 4 this am - English - shon vann-yay - whom I thought was Jean Vannier was a holy holy person who abused not the disabled but the people helping them
put up to it by - Feeleep Toma - Phillippe Thomas perhaps
at Larsh - which turns out to be L'arche

some thought he was so holy it was Gods will
some thought he was less holy and held back
and some felt better about it - - eek

read all abaart it here ( en francais)

10/10 for l'arche coming out wivvit and said - yes he did this.....
can we have a mod rule: "thou shalt not stare at your own or someone else's belly button"? = have a sterile discussion on who is a mod and who isnt and their perceived shortcomings and advantages
[email protected]. Apologies for not answering before but I have only just seen your post. I am not a Mod ,have never been a Mod, don't ever want to be a Mod and furthermore in all the years that I have been a member of AB I have never even reported anyone.

ANDRES, thanks for clearing that up, my mistake.

And that my friends is how you bring in advertising revenue for the owners of this site - never mind Gummies, New Look or does my bum look big in this posts, if you want hits then just post something controversial. I thank you.

You sound bizarrely proud of your efforts, lankeela.

‘And that my friends is how you bring in advertising revenue for the owners of this site’

At the expense of making yourself look like a paedophile supporter…….no ta.
I’m confused re mods.
If you are active on a thread can a mod remove posts ? Naomi thinks yes .
Andy Hughes thinks no.
Anyone wish to clarify ? Thanks
Maggiebee, it wouldn't occur to me to delete your post or most others that don't relate to the topic being discussed. I was simply clarifying for anyone who might think that is a 'rule' rather than a 'reservation'.
Anneaaquith - A Mod is able to remove posts from a thread on which they are active, but they are not allowed to remove posts that either refer to them directly, or posts that are in response to something the Mod has posted.

Thus, I was not able to delete one of Nailit's less complimentary observations aimed specifically at me.

I am entitled to use the Report facility to advise the Ed and team of a Site Rules breach, which I did.

Another Mod removed the post shortly afterwards.

Contrary to continued comments to the contrary, I have never deleted posts that are aimed at me personally, and I have never deleted any post simply because I do not agree with it, or because I have issues with the poster.

I moderate according to Site Rules, always have, always will
Anneasquith, Imagine if a load of abuse appeared. Common sense dictates that mods wouldn't be compelled to leave it.
