Grand National
The hooray-henry scum of the earth disrupting the Peoples Race.Should the mumsies and popsies of these aerosols demand their little poppets get a life or get a real job?
Answers
Of course they can. Don't you watch the Disney animated films? They can even talk you know. Meehh. ......What do you think that wild horses do, or did, to survive and evolve? Like all Earths creatures they weighed up the odds of survival. The ones who were good at it are still here. Byyee.

@[email protected] you pair Vegans,Vegetarians? If so,i agree with you.But if you have ever ate meat in your lives you are a pair of hypocrites.
Can meat-eaters not show concern for the welfare of horses?
Does it not make sense for a personal opinion to change when the information or evidence upon which that opinion is based, changes?
You hate the SNP and those who support them yet you have voted for an SNP MP in the past.
Does that not make you a hypocrite in your world?

I agree Andrez but we have evolved to eat meat. We have the teeth to eat meat and i see no problem with doing what other animals do. We are not special. I must admit to cutting down on meat and paying more for meat that is not factory farmed. But i dislike it when vegetarians preach at every opportunity. I think the Grand National is cruel as do many others.
I have nothing against horse racing - far from it: although I'm not that interested in it, I agree with most of the comments in support of it.
I did watch yesterday's race but every year I like it less. It's a bit of a freak show really: the Cheltenham Gold Cup on steroids, with more horses, bigger jumps, longer course, and of course everyone has a flutter on whatever horse they hope will survive (literally) much further than the first fence. "The people's race" is a term I have heard more often in recent times.
I personally would shed no tears if it was binned, despite also having little time for many of the protesters.

MissTerious -- I was only stating a fact not decrying meat eaters.
bhg--- I did wonder that when I saw one of the loose horses jumping over the fences on its own. Maybe they have an instinct and wouldn't attempt to jump one that was too high. Plus they have been trained to jump over the fences. The National fences were altered a few years ago to make them less hazardous.
