£1.2m is fairly insignificant in the scheme of things. And I use the word ‘scheme’ without predjudice, of course.
Word has it that when DUP members arrived at Westminster for the first time they were astounded at the massive clothing allowance available, especially the short money.

The SNPs bank balance was £97,000 on their last accounts. So £1,200,000 is not insignificant, it is a very hefty top up.
They could sell the battle bus!

They still owe Wee Burney's old man £100k don't they? So £1.2m in the bin would be very welcome I'd have thought.
