health” card.
I wonder if they would be so forgiving if one of us was found out paying £35k to get nude photos.
For an organisation that tipped off the police on Cliff Richard, who did nothing wrong, to coddle this pervert is an absolute bloody disgrace.

Im disgusted that hes hidden away with mental issues now and can't face the public!
nope will get up and run
depressed ( not sad- depressed) middle aged men may present with their disease with sexual er deviancy
and so when for instance a middle aged man is charged or suspected with flashing etc, it is worthwhile, whilst insisting on innocence etc to ask - - is he depressed ?

For an organisation that tipped off the police on Cliff Richard,
hold it - - they paid £400k and the rest ( costs) over that one
you wd expect them to change behaviour
the much quoted case Cliff v Beeb and S Yorks police, does discuss privacy law after para 237 I think - but it is mostly about dividing damages and the two parties Beeb and SYP have ( in the case) already admitted liability

erm paying £30k for nudey pictures is a bit stupid but it is not "perverted" lol any more than looking at porn is... and it isn't actually confirmed that he did pay for them
i think the sun ran with this because they wanted to damage the bbc and didn't care about anything else... mission accomplished i am sure mister murdoch will be delighted

The BBC said days ago that they had both emailed and phoned the family but got no reply.
Are they suddenly shy or have they been briefed not to interact with a news organisation that may have started their story falling to pieces.
The Sun are known to take no response as licence to print any old keech, they are not an organisation to be looked up to.

It's disappointing that people want to see hospital treatment for mental illness as 'hiding' or a 'get out of jail free' card.
Mr Edwards apparently has a history of mental illness, and his current hospitalisation should be seen for what it is - necessary treatment for an illness.
The jibe about him receiving treatment 'denied to others' ignores that fact that he may be being treated as a private patient.
Hospitalisation for mental illness is not a sop to avoid responsibility - this will be waiting for Mr Edwards when he is ready and able to deal with it.
