the victim's parents have been offered tens of thousands of pounds for an interview on Murdoch's TV channel. I'm sure they won't accept it, in light of their previous claims.

I thought I knew, and I'm so glad that I got it wrong. I like this said presenter, and would hate to see him off air.
as for who it is, well, I have to say that I only really knew of him recently. even though he's been presenting forever, BBC news is not something I really watch- I just know him from the coverage of the queen's death

Letter in Times: Sir,Mental Health problems can cover a labyrinth of issues,one being bipolar disorder which is often covered by hypersexuality and reckless behaviour. Perhaps we should avoid judgement and give this tremendous person and his family sympathy and breathing space. Nigel Pearson 17th July
