.......according to Suella Braverman.

As the narrator says, there are a number of racist & bigots who will continue to believe/defend this policy and Braverman (are you one of them?).

What you propose Labour would do about it Hymie?

Exactly, the Labour Party have no plans, so it’s their fault.
It's the fault of all those throwing up barriers. But also of the PM who won't extricate our nation from the straitjackets of external control
Question Author
Definitely not the fault of the Tories then?

If you watch the youtube video, you will see that we have a deranged woman as Home Secretary.
Its the fault of the lefty lawyers using legal aid and the mainly white middle class women who hold up refugees welcome placards, like these.

Hymie is now an expert on diagnosing insanity from a youtube video.

You don’t need any medical qualifications to see how deranged Braverman is – just a modicum of common sense.
But Hymie, you deem anyone who doesn't agree with you to be stupid - so you will no doubt understand why others consider your judgement to be seriously flawed.... and on a grand scale.
"Britannia rule the waves" or should it now be ..France rule the waves.
...Especially in the English Channel.....

Most people posting on here are agreeing with me – it’s the Labour Party’s fault; nothing to do with the Tories.
//As the narrator says, there are a number of racist & bigots who will continue to believe/defend this policy...//

Before you hurl your usual insults about, consider the following:

- Those arriving by unconventional means doing so are in a safe country (though may not particularly like it where they are).

- They are risking their safety and those of others by making such a journey.

- They are jumping the queue of people who wish to make a proper application to settle here.

So is it racist and/or bigoted to want to stop people arriving here in that way? Or is it a case of you chucking your usual insults at people who may not necessarily agree with you?

NJ – supposing I’m fleeing some war-torn African country, how do I make a proper application to settle (claim asylum) in the UK?

You don't need to claim asylum here once you reach a safe country.

As someone fleeing a war-torn country, I’m under no legal obligation to claim asylum in the first safe country I reach – I want to make a proper application/claim for asylum in the UK, how do I do this?

So does the country where the migrant wants to make an asylum have a duty to accept that application?
Most UK asylum seekers come from Albania which is considered to be a safe country by a cross party MP group, so it's hardly a war torn country. They are not genuine in their quest for sanctuary.

If they are cherry picking a country then they are not desperate are they.
