Given that Boris probably pays more tax in a year than you will pay in a lifetime, I would say he's as entitled to his opinion as anyone.

Liz Truss and Boris were  both in a debate in The House of Commons as long ago as February/23 and both of them urged Rishi to send jets and weapons as quickly as possible to help Ukraine. So Boris is merely trying to speed things up. He is not 'sticking his nose in'.

Johnson was as it says in the link provided by someone else visiting soldiers in hospital: this while no longer allegedly trying to avoid political problems back home which was the jibe before. That doesn't fit the OP's agenda so it is ignored

A lot of pressure now on President Biden to release the long range ATACMS missiles.

While Swedish Gripen fighter planes  may get there before F16s.

Overall tho we have not supplied weaponry in the quantities needed to permit faster progress.

Meanwhile Ukraine now develops its own weapons.
