that's because they are equivalent. "collateral damage" is a euphemism for disregarding civilian casualties toratoratora... if you launch indiscriminate missiles into crowded civilian areas then you know what you are doing. it isn't an accident. that is why the geneva convention forbids it.

i do not support hamas. i have been very careful to limit my criticism to the israeli government and not israelis as a whole because i understand the difference... hamas are evil and their crimes are despicable. i apply the same moral standard to the IDF

you are simply incorrect tora tora... collateral means "along with" not accidental... if they meant accidental they would say it. the phrase is a euphemism devised by military organisations to trivialise civilian casualties

Again, I'm totally with Untitled on this, and others.  I have been anti Israel for years because of their actions, but this could have been predicted.  This doesn't mean I agree with it and support Hamas.  I certainly am not  and in no way am I anti Jews.
