NAOMI, support for Palestine does not equate to supporting Hamas.
https:/
"Hamas is a proscribed terrorist organisation under UK law. Hezbollah is too. Anyone who expresses support for these organisations, waves their flag, holds up a placard or directly expresses support for them is committing an offence and can expect to be dealt with.
The law on this is very clear, but it is also very specific and we have to act within it.
What we cannot do is interpret support for the Palestinian cause more broadly as automatically being support for Hamas or any other proscribed group, even when it follows so soon after an attack carried out by that group and when to many the link seems indisputable.
An expression of support for the Palestinian people more broadly, including flying the Palestinian flag, does not, alone, constitute a criminal offence."
Just read some of the relevant posts. No names should be named are you trying to get TTT banned?
Pro Palestine should be ok, but its where people have expressed glee and support for the recent attrocities or indeed for Hamas itself since in this country it is a proscribed terroist organisation.
I see one young lady has had her collar felt byt the ATS today, I expect there will be others, and of course many more will now be on watch lists.

No, but suddenly coming out on the day of the murders of kids and babies the defence of I was only supporting the Palestinians probably wont wash. Either way the ATS will undoubtedly have added a fair few to their watchlist.
Thank you, Corby. It seems a strangely fine line to me. On the one hand people are out cheering Palestine on and very much hoping they will triumph, but at the same time they are not allowed to express support the actual perpetrators of this conflict - which they are supporting. Hmmm .... confusing.
