What Are Ordinary Gazans Supposed To Do?
the israeli military has instructed families in gaza city to go south to avoid the bombardment... this family did as they were told and according to this report 13 of them were killed anyway because an airstrike hit their shelter... the young girl being interviewed says she is the only one left.

because the blockade of water and food targets civilians ichkeria... plus i simply do not believe that all these thousands of missiles are being precisely targeted to hit only military targets. i can't exactly prove that but it seems utterly far fetched to me. someone knows what they are doing if they launch lethal weapons into very densely populated civilian areas... and they especially know what they are doing if they bomb areas that they have told people they should fled to

There is a great deal to be sad about regarding this war. So far the most mentally troubling tv piece I have seen was an older woman screaming to the tv camera that she did not understand why they were being bombed. To her, Israel had simply started to destroy everything and everyone she cherished. That woman did not know what we in our comfortable lounges know through tv footage. Was she aware that Hamas had kicked it off? Clearly not. THAT is what is troubling for me.
Yes, untitled, 'horrifying'. Israel is under attack, it is now, understandably, at war, and it is issuing warnings to civilians. Those monsters were not at war and those people had no warning. When presented with the stark reality of the appalling atrocities that Hamas and every group like them has no hesitation in committing, you make efforts to make the right noises but I doubt it convinces many. Certainly not me.

I am not lying when i say that those things horrify me naomi... they are the worst things that human beings can do. i have not written a single word in support of hamas... not one.

but the warnings are worthless. this family were told to flee south... they did and israel bombed them anyway, killing nearly all of them whilr they were in a refugee shelter.
i have said numerous times that what hamas did was evil and wrong... that it is never acceptable to terrorise and slaughter civilians. can you say that it is wrong for the IDF to blow up whole families?
