Politics in this country is a bloomin farce highlighted by this dishing out of honours by losers to losers. Trouble is the people are too timid/scared/preoccupied to give substantial support to anyone who wants to change things (hopefully for the better!).

Republic/UKIP/Reform-UK. Come the revolution....

12:48, yes and he is no doubt apoplectic about this privately but he knows it's the rules. Would have been ideal if LT had chosen not to bother like Blair and Brown but she did not. Blocking it is not easy and would no doubt be more problematic long term.

Apologies don't win elections only actions and delivering pledges, the cons have proven time and time again that they are unable to do either.

I would love the PM to put a vote to the house to  give the option to stop this process.  It would be interesting to see who votes to keep the current system.
