God help the Lads and Lassies on the ground and at the sharp end when they have prevaricating and stuttering buffoons who come to an enquiry and ill prepared to answer questions. These idiots are supposed to expect some loyalty and respect from their staff.

What was racist was when the LFB and Met Police required recruits who were from an ethnic background, female  and gay to apply. My white hetrosexual son who was fit as a flea was denied an interview for ages. When he eventually got an interview he passed all the fitness tests but didn't have a driving licence so he learnt to drive.He was told he was too late when he passed his test and that they were only recruiting ethnics females and gays again. He gave up and went into banking. That is racism.

It is a statement from a former Labour politician, former Conservative politician, and it is in itself is very political question. Asking for comments but saying political comments are not allowed is pure nonsence. It is impossible to respond to the question in an apolitical way.
