A Cadbury store has been criticised by a Christian campaign group for advertising chocolate Easter eggs as "gesture" eggs.
//According to the Daily Telegraph, the shop in Springfields Outlet in Spalding, Lincolnshire, was offering a two for £10 deal on the "gesture" eggs.
Cadbury's owners said it had "no involvement" in the promotion. //

Whoever came up with that gem needs to get back to basics.
"The fish on Good Friday, the Simnel cake, the Hot Cross buns, the lamb on Easter Sunday, and the Eggs.... all of it is symbolic and it is all part of our culture."
and how does someone calling easter eggs "gesture eggs" take any of that away? i daresay observance of easter has changed a fair bit over the years!!
Ramadam lights to stay on display for Easter.

Easter was hijacked decades go and you never noticed. You not only failed to object, but you happily bought into lining the pockets of confectioners and the food industry. A bun with a icing cross on it is decoration. It was done to sell more buns, not for affirming your religious beliefs.
Christians should be boycotting products made by exploiting the christian faith for commercial gain. Instead, the should be applauding those who seek to sell their sugary sweets as a nice surpise gift, instead of misappropiating their faith for money.
