This, honestly, is really rather silly. Hamas is rightly designated a terrorist organiation by the government and as far as I know the BBC acknowledges that fact. The BBC are there to report: I cannot really see what practical benefit this would have or how it would be implemented. It isn't as if the BBC can do anything practical with the label, unlike say a government.

Israelis are occupying large areas of the West Bank.  There are now 750,000 'settlers' there now.  They enforce their land grab with murderous militias backed up by the IDF.

You'd rarely hear them described as terrorists.

Exactly: otherwise you are asking the BBC to do what has in effect already been done. I thought Cameron might have had a bit more sense.

That is self-evidently true. This particular man, however, is struggling to see in what sense Hamas could reasonably be called "freedom fighters". It seems to me that they have held their own people hostage for their own ends.

I don't know what you think the West Bank is like but life actually goes on as normal.  People run their businesses, workers go to work and children go to school.  Women aren't being raped and children and old people aren't being taken hostage.

Do you admit that the land grab continues?  About 20% of the best land in the West Bank is now occupied by 'settlers'.

And in recent months 300 Palestinians have been shot dead by militias and the IDF.
