This after being weaned in a left wing culture that promulgated and encouraged the idea of revolution based on the envy of the successful hard working neighbour and the right to covet their assets or social position. The decades of left wing grooming of the young to disregard authority and to resist discipline, a left wing dominated education system that encouraged self pity and entitlement. A police force, designed by people just like him, to despise the indigenous population whilst acquiscing to criminal child abusing or knife weilding newcomers. The results of the programme of social undermining that his mentors and cohorts have conducted for decades is coming to fruition, like a hand grenade exploding in the face of the wielder. The trots never aimed to face insurrection but to cause it. Right so far.
Why? He is supposed to be the one in charge. If he does recall Parliament he will have a walk-over vote for whatever he decides.
He's been elected despite having no strong views. Suddenly he needs to be decisive. By profession and training he will sway from side to side supporting whatever is in front of him at the time.
To my mind he is a disaster in the making, but he may yet surprise us and emerge with decision and the required effort to restore pleace...........at least temporarily. I really hope he does. This is not going away, it has been over 40 years in the making.
Starmer is a lawyer & sees the world through that prism - the answer to all problems are through law & its enforcement. When it comes to being resolute he is lost.
Instead of holding meetings he should act, if necessary order police reinforcements from across the country, but most of all he should say something about why these riots are taking place and it's not simply 'mindless hard-right thugs' who are annoyed at the direction the country is going.
Actually I believe he should recall Parliament. He should be explaining to them what he is going to do about it and taking questions.
Using Plod (or the Army) will simply intensify this, even if they manage to quell the current noise the undercurrent will still be there waiting to another explosion unless he does something.
Most of the rioters/looters will have no viewpoints, warped all otherwise.
They turn up to any cause hell bent of causing destruction from peaceful protests. We have seen it time and time again with protests from all manner of things.
Only difference is this time #TwoTierKier is calling them Far Right and actually getting Plod to do something.
