Is 'Riotous Behaviour ' an offence in England?  In N Ireland It carried a minimum 6 months imprisonment on conviction.

I hear a conviction for rioting in England can lead to a sentence of 10 years.

On the face if it they appear to be very different.

They explained it on TV earlier, seems it is likely to be what they charge the ringleaders with and with decent cctv, all it takes is a minimum of twelve in the group apparently
