there are truly hateful posts about muslims on the answerbank including posts which condone the recent riots attacking british muslim... i recall others which condone "eradication" of that group in the uk and others which call for mosques to be bulldozed. absolutely none of these posts were a problem for AB's moderators and so... yes... by the standards that are normal on this very abnormal website the content of these messages are pretty mild.

I think the claim of europe being "islamified" (an opinion and not a fact) followed by the manchester bombing presented as "a taste of things to come" is not merely a presentation of facts. i think it is intended to provoke hatred against all muslims regardless of their involvement in terrorism.
 

for you that is normal because that is how you feel anyway. that is not how normal people feel.

Lets turn it on its head then. It's clear you seem not to dislike muslims despite their terrorism so you are never going to be convinced by those that do.

The problem is that folk with similar beliefs as you do not only have a, "negative view of the perps." you and they have a negative view of Muslims in general.

Extremists in any society are not typical of and do not represent, that society as a whole.

my nephew is almost two years old. if he keeps growing at the rate he has been then he'll be a colossus by the time he's 30!!

it's a very big and very speculative "if" toratoratora. i doubt very much it will happen.

The content of the message linked to at 11.04 may well be factually correct, but if the intent of the message poster was to encourage fear or prejudice against Islam and Muslims, surely that is Islamophobic.

If the message had contained only details of atrocities carried out by the IRA and like-minded terrorists, would that considered to be, "fine and dandy" since it would be factual information?
