//And yet many muslims simply ignore the parts of the koran....// What you fail to understand, untitled, is that Islamic literature (Muslims don't abide solely by the Koran)  provides for every eventuality, and everything they do - from the best to the worst - can, from their literature, be justified in one way or another.  Islam is not simply a religion - it...

Yes - next week it's the annual Fairytale of New York lyrics outrage.

Note to Ed...can we get an AnswerBank calendar published so all members of the News section can get geared up for these annual events?

No, I dont doubt it but its nothign to do with the name.

I do wonder if those in denial have childrn/grandchildren?  I doubt it will affect us on here but certainly my grandkids, at some point they will have to leave these shores to be safe, especially the girls.

I really feel sorry for the women, homosexuals and non believers of the future.  Most will be murdered.

Radio DJ: sorry we can't play "fairytale of New York" this year because it's too offensive. Never mond, here's Cardi B rapping about her wet ladygarden.......

Ooh, an homage.

Incidentally the BeeB website link to this shows a white baby baby peeping out of it's cot - shouldn't it be  a brown one? Just sayin'...

mozz: "Yes Tora, How is your proposed bud nipping going to take place?" - as previously published:

Note the BA

i doubt it yes.

the reason for this statistic is that muslim families currently have more children than non-muslim families do. i don't see evidence this trend will continue for long enough for britain to be "islamified".

//i don't see evidence this trend will continue for long enough for britain to be "islamified".//

Nor evidence that it won't.  Muslims as a whole have always favoured big families.  I despair for the future of this country - and for that of Europe.

untitled: //the reason for this statistic is that muslim families currently have more children than non-muslim families do. i don't see evidence this trend will continue for long enough for britain to be "islamified".// - yes what do you think is going to happen to arrest this trend? As far as I can see they'll out breed us and take over the country legally using our own system.

i think that eventually the things that dissuade non-muslim families from having children will disappear. i also think that successive generations of british muslims are likely to diverge from the values of their parents.

I think you're living in Cloud Cuckoo Land, untitled.

how interesting

Question Author

10:31 they live in the modern world with attitudes from a 1000 years ago. It is ingrained in them by their parents.

you can say that tora but that isn't what i have noticed in the muslims i know.

I see no evidence of future generations of muslim children diverging from their parents beliefs, eg pressure for girls to adopt the hijab and other garments eg in sport; girls taking their school to court over worship rights

What have you noticed, untitled?

Question Author

untitled: "you can say that tora but that isn't what i have noticed in the muslims i know. " - well most of them have learned to blend in and appear normal but they tacitly at least support the exteremists and they will be on board when they have enough to impose their barbarity.

Question Author

....even if they are really moderate they'll be irrelevant as explained by Brigitte Gabriel here from about 4mins

&t=355s

that they are all different. some who are older (or immigrants from more conservative societies) hold reactionary views that I find abhorrent. others who are younger or grew up here simply do not observe the parts of their religion they dislike (prohibitions on alcohol or drugs, stuff about women and gay people) and focus on the parts they do like (usually the spiritual practise).

"well most of them have learned to blend in and appear normal but they tacitly at least support the exteremists"

please bear in mind that you are describing people that i know... and therefore i don't believe you. you're trying to tell me that friends and neighbours secretly have it in for me and are all lying in order to mask their sinister purpose. that is a weird thing to do toratoratora and it isn't going to work.
