OK OK I know this is going to make me sound stupid, but what exactly do these people actually want?? Why are the terrorists so keen on murdering us? If they hate us so much why do they live in Britain and America? I honestly don't understand what they want!

They are the agents of Allah on Earth, they live by Sharia law, their aim is to cleanse the infidel from the planet and impose worldwide Sharia law that is all that matters there are no nations, no outsiders, you are either with them in Islam or you are the infidel and fair game to be slain, they are doing the work of Allah. The west is the great satan, they live a life of decedant putrifaction, they must be converted or exterminated.

The Taliban regime in afghanistan is a good example of what they would like to impose on the whole world. Fancy wearing a burka?

Somedays in fact most days I look in the mirror and I think I wouldnt mind wearing one.

Of course the UN get around the whole genocide thing by saying acts of genocide have been commited, as all the un countries signed a treaty saying that no matter where it was happening, it (holocaust) would never happen again. So we carry on ignoring these things that happen in Iraq, when yugoslavia split and rwanda because apparently our predecessors didnt really mean it.

You're all dead wrong. The moderates DO NOT support the exteremists and the exteremists themselves are just a separate cowardly clan misusing and therefeore ruining the reputation of the moderates and Islam itself by killing people and themselves etc.

It used to bug me that no other faith from the ethinic minority in the country such as Sikh, indian etc deal with such people as extremists, why only the muslim ??

ALFIE. I think you are wrong. When so called Islamic moderates condemn acts of terrorism it is always qualified by them saying the loss of 'innocent' people is deplorable.

As Loosehead says according to Islam the only innocents are other Moslems. An Infidel is not innocent by the very definition.

Artemis - I'm not sure what you are trying to say here - are you in favour for Islamic moderates condemning attacks made by the extremists ? Cos thats the point i am made. NOT all muslims are extremists - thats the valid point i'm trying to make. I have met muslims who are extremely compatible with every other race. Just watching the muslims at the rally in London on the news, by god, they are SO hard to make themselves look peaceful! We have a lot of Scottish people who live near me they all moan about rubbish it is to live round here and how much better Scotland is and I always always think F**k off then!!! Hatred is the enemy. Filling ones mind with hate crowds out reason. This can be observed in people who are unable to treat others as individuals according to their actions. I am White/Caucasian, not by choice but by birth. I do not deserve to be treated as those of my race and color who have committed countless atrocities throughout history nor do I base my treatment of others on what others of their race color or religious beliefs have done. This is simply small mindedness, a product of blanket hatred and shows no due respect for the merits of a particular individual.

Respect for human life begins with respect for rationality. This is our distinctive means of survival and what gives us the ability to appreciate the value of life. Reason is the only thing that can solve the problems created by hatred and substituting hatred for reason only makes matters worse, and they are plenty bad enough already. Remember that you and you alone are responsible for what you believe, how what you believe affects your choices and the consequences of your actions.

The peace is won by eliminating the cause of war which is making life intolerable for those who accept responsibility for their own life. The cost of freedom is personal responsibility.
