Baroness Thatcher?

nope, sorry jno I agree with linda. Heard postcode Pat on news last night and wanted to throw something at the telly. She's got the kind of tone that makes me disbelieve EVERYTHING she says. Utterly nauseating woman, and the way she talks (as if her audience are completely stupid) gets right on my nipple ends.
It is extremely irritating. However, as soon as I hear Tony Blair I want to vomit. Im normally screaming abuse at the TV when I see him doing the head rolling ala Stevie Wonder.

I would have said Mrs T. as well. As Clive James said, when she advised she was sure there would not be a woman Prime Minister in her lifetime, she sounded like a cat sliding down a blackboard.

The hallmark of the Tory patronising tone is the way they preface everything with the cod humility of "Can I just say ...." which translates as "I will have to speak very slowly and carefully because I am a brilliant policitian who is always right, and you are some horrid working class oik with the IQ of a cheese grater and the grasp of world affairs of a wok."

My sentiments too livk.

I can think of a few others, but I'm in a hurry!

Hazel Blears,
