Does anybody wish to give an amateur Psychological profile of the Suffolk Slasher. He (assuming it is a he??) seems more expedient than The Yorkshire Ripper.

I can predict a "calling from God" will be mentioned when he is caught.

Will there be a non-tom killing like The Yorkshire Ripper?

But ummmmmmm, Peter Sutcliffe was a happily married man who held down a job and as the sun once reported killed an "innocent" victim who was not a hooker.

Well I was just saying to my work colleague that how do they know it�s a man doing it, my guess is a woman who has found her her husband has been using prostitutes and now she�s on a killing spree, they aren�t being sexually assaulted at all. And what makes you say slasher? Have they said how yet? I live near Norwich where some other prostitutes have disappeared over the years. What makes it really sad to me is that the third girl found was never even reported missing, that is so sad that no-one cared enough to miss her.

Sutcliffe didn't assault them either. And without being base, although hookers can of course be sexually assaulted, I question how the police will know this. Sexual assault will not necessiarly have physical violence will it?

I say Slasher because it has a better ring to it trhat The Suffolk Strangler or East of England Aphysixer.

Sutcliffe didn't "rip". Most of his victims were hit with a hammer.

Peter Sutcliffe's wife thought they were happily married. She was married to a complete nutter who was probably very lonely because he was a complete nutter who liked to go out at night and kill prostitutes, except of course the one victim he killed who was not a prostitute, but I bet he thought she was. Of course, whatever is published in the sun must be true!!!

That is very true wardy? I didn�t think of that, obviously they can tell with others if they have had sex but yes very difficult with a prostitute, but you tell if they had been sexually assaulted, bruises etc.

And what also annoys me is the prostitutes being interviewed that say they are going to have to be extra careful when working now. Don�t do it then! I know this is there job, but anyone can get a job, whether it be in a shop or factory. Most of these girls are just feeding their drug habit, get clean or be killed in the process. What a choice.

It is worth noting that all of the prostitutes were found naked. Did he find that the naked female body had no attraction for him and he questioned his sexual orientation? Did he blame the prostitute for not encouraging his desire to perform with a woman? Will he keep searching for this woman and those that fail are killed?

Almost undoubtedly he'll excuse himself by acting for God and dehumanising his victims first.

There may be something that this person is doing the the bodies that the police have not released. There are a few people out there daft enough as it sees who would probably admit to to it, there'll be something wer'e not being told about.

And Sutcliffe did sexually mutilate some of his victims - but after he killed them.

5 previous unsolved cases..

1992 - The body of Natalie Pearman, 16, who worked in the red-light area of Norwich, was found about five miles away in November 1992. She had been strangled. Samples from her body showed that she had sex with three men on the night she died. Two were identified and cleared. Police are almost certain that the unknown third client was her killer

1993 - Mother-of-two Mandy Duncan, 26, of Woodbridge, Suffolk, vanished in July 1993 while selling sex in Ipswich. Her body has never been found

2000 - On Sunday 11th June 2000, Norwich prostitute and mother of two, Kellie Pratt went missing. She was last seen outside the Rose Inn public house, at the junction of Queen's Road and City Road in Norwich, at 11.30pm and has not been seen since, presumed dead by her family.

When last seen, she was talking on a mobile phone. Minutes later two women were seen arguing in nearby Kensington Place - although it is not certain that Kellie was one of them. Kellie was later reported missing by friends after she failed to meet them for a pre-arranged lift.

Kellie was described as: white, 5ft 4in tall, medium build with fair hair shaved at the front and sides and badly scarred arms.

At the time of her disappearance she was wearing: a black mini skirt, black T-shirt, light blue coat.

2002 - The body of 22-year-old Norwich woman and drug addict Michelle Bettles, was found at approximately 10.15 a.m on Sunday, 31st March, 2002, in a wooded area at Scarning near Dereham.

Her body was found by a member of the public who was walking his dog in Podmore Lane.

A murder enquiry was launched and it was established that Michelle had been working as a prostitute in Norwich.

A post mortem established that Michelle had died through "manual strangulation". She was last seen alive in March 2002 as she waited to be picked up

1999 - Seventeen-year-old Victoria (Vicky) Hall went missing at about 2.30am on Sunday, September 19, 1999, as she walked towards her home in Faulkeners Way, Trimley St Mary.

She was returning from a night out in Felixstowe, with her friend Gemma Algar, during which they had visited the Bandbox Nightclub and then a local kebab shop.

The girls went their separate ways at the junction of High Road / Faulkeners Way, Trimley St Mary. People later reported hearing screams in the area.

A murder enquiry was launched after Vicky's naked body was found, about 25 miles away , in a stream near Creeting St Peter (near Stowmarket) at 7.30pm on Friday, September 24, 1999, by a man walking his dog.

Police believe that she died of asphyxia.

Vicky was 5ft 1ins tall, petite, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a short black dress with 'shoestring' straps, a brown jacket, platformed/high-heeled black sandals and was carrying a small half-moon shaped black purse. None of this clothing has ever been found.

A 27-year-old Felixstowe businessman was accused of her murder but found not guilty following a trial.

The bodies of these victims, tend to center more around the Norwich area than Ipswich, suggesting that the killer may have previously moved homefrom there. However 2 bodies have never been found and could be anywhere.

Killers tend to stick to their own patch and if you make a cental point you get the town of Thetford, which has easily access to all the major road system.

I would also say that the killer has definately killed before these current 3 girls as he is very organised, ie, knowing the best time to dump the bodies etc.

you're right it is facinating, are they all drug related at all? my mate shared a hostel room with Michelle Bettles. The Vicky Hall bit just doesnt match the whole prostitute thing.

Vicky seemed the odd one out, a normal family girl, so maybe a case of mistaken identity or simply not connected. Also there is a large gap between the first 2 killings and the remaining crimes, so possibly a spell in prison???

I think prostitution and drugs go hand in hand. Only the high class hookers (2-3 grand+ per night in London) although may use coke, are the only ones not into smack or crack. Hand-shandy Mandy (�5-�20) tends to be a druggie.

its probably someone who has been with prostitutes before, he probably had a bad experience with one of them, in which he feels belittled, therefore he believes in taking revenge by cleansing prostitutes from planet earth.
He feels good after killing the 1st one, now it becomes a game with him and the police, he feels he's untouchable, and hes always going to be one step ahead of the police, when he does get caught, he will probably say he heard voices in his head
