I really respect and admire Jade Goody for speaking her mind. Do any others share this feeling?

NOOOOOOOO Jade goody is just a cheap, fat, ugly,common,vile, foul mouthed,pig faced racist who only aplogised for her views when she found out how it would dent her bank balance, her apology was nowhere near genuine and only did it to save her fat ass, but thats just my opinion!!!

From what I read about what she said, I couldn't See any racism really. (Now I admit I never watched the programme, can't stand it!) but all I saw was a form of bullying. For example in the papers it quoted (or similar to):-

J.G saying " oh f off back home" , which is in India as I recall, so where is the racism in that?

Also J.G. " is it true that Indian people eat with their hands?"

I would say a valid question if intrigued in her culture or was ignorant about their practices.

Using a common stereotype about an area that someone comes from is commonplace, e.g. thieving scouser or tight Scottish etc

Can someone please tel me where the racism debate stemmed from? (A serious question from a non-watcher!)

I couldn't respect her, even if I was paid her entire loss in earnings......which is wholly deserved. Unfortunately, she does represent a large and increasing percentage of this country's population and social make up.

I am always amazed that people tout "Speaking their mind" as an asset.

It is far from an asset - it is, in fact, the sign of someone of limited intelligence who has no respect for somebody elses feelings.

You should respect and admire somebody who has the sensitivity, tact and reasoning NOt to speak their mind if speaking their mind is simply going to cause offence.

Everyone is absolutely entitled to speak their mind within the confines of the law (you can't incite to murder etc), and we are entitled to react to what people say.

The CBB housemates have discovered that whilst they're free to say whatever they want, we are free to disassociate ourselves from them.

From the first time Jade Goody ever appeared on our TV screens I have always been of the opinion that she is nothing more than a talentless, loud mouthed, poorly educated girl with no manners or respect.

There are thousands of other 'Jades' out there in the UK - all products of their 'upbringings'.

After her original stint on BB the media/press made her into the celebrity she is today with their 'working class girl made good' routine. She has since made money most of us can only dream about & you can't knock her for that - fair play!

This fame then lands her a part in Celebrity BB where she shows herself to be the same talentless, loud mouthed, poorly educated girl who still lacks manners & respect. But this time the 'victim' ouf Jade's outburts happens to be Asian & in modern day politically correct Britain this must be classed racist abuse.

You have to laugh when you read headlines in the Tabloids along the lines of 'Jade disgraces our country'. Without the Tabloids Jade would of been long forgotten, nowhere near the Celebrity BB house & would probably be tossing burgers in the local branch of Burger King or more likely on the dole & living rent free in a Bermondsey council flat.

i like her. shes always seemed a nice lass to me, what shes said is only because she doesn't always realise when shes not being diplomatic enough. She didnt realise what she was saying was appearing as so bad, im sure all u lot have hurt other people in the past without realising to. give the lass a break.
