I heard about the letter last week and they were getting the sniffer dogs out to check the described location but i haven't heard whether they have found anything? Actually I hope they haven't and that there is still chance she is laive somewhere. Poor kid

Was a tiny bit in todays Daily Star (yes I know!) saying that Madelines' parents are reported to be furious with this "hoax" letter.

i think that they are struggling to keep her plight in the media now fresh and new news appear every day and life moves on im afraid .this is old news now and i truly hope she is alive and being well cared for ,somewhere by someone but i fear that as time goes on she will just become another missing person statistic.little maddie is paying the price for her parents incompetance.

The letter came from a "medium" which they are only investigating because they have no other leads. i must say I never had much faith in this when i found out that the letter was from a medium, even if it did help locate the bodies of the other girls
