Mother Helped In Rape Of Daughter !!!!!

Read this on sky and was shocked to the core. As ive said before not only men to blame.I will post a link if you wanna read about this evil woman. Good news is she got 12 years. How could a mother allow this and even watch it happen? To a 12 year old girl its very upsetting , and distressing.

The judge told Dunsmore he had taken into account "public revulsion" at her offences in sentencing her.

Interesting to note that the girl who was abused is satisfied with the sentence - it is just other people who know very little about the case (other than what they ahve read in the media) who aren't happy

I live in Edinburgh and this story has been running for a few weeks now. One of the things that horriys me most is that the mother herself was raped and abused from a very young age by her own father...who incidentally is serving a prison term for rape and is still regularly visited by his daughter! And so the cycle of abuse continued! I have nothing but admiration for Dana Fowler for speaking up and helping take these vile perverts of the streets and I sincerely hope that she is allowed to get on with and make the most of her life, despite such a hellish start!

I think for this alone the death penalty should be brought back into force. I found it really sad on the news when the daughter said she still loved her mum! how can she? It disgusts me to the core to think that people can do that to anyone let alone there own child that they carried inside them for 9 months. Repulsive. I hope she gets what she deserves in prison.

She can't get paroled after 6 years.

Punishment for criminals are for reasons of revenge; protection of our society; reforming the criminal; or deterring others. Or do you understand this differently.

She is not going to be able to commit this crime again, no other indicators ( I am aware so could be wrong) that she is a career criminal in other areas, so no need to protect society,

deterring others- for gods sake who would stop and consider whether to be complicit in the abuse just on the grounds of the sentence for the crime. Just try and convince me or anyone that this sort of rational thought is going through the minds of the abusers.

reforming the criminal - if she isn't going to recommit such an offence then there is no need to reform.

Oh but revenge. Yes ledgend, you were upset reading about this, so what you want in the way of making you feel better must be paramount, no other factors come into consideration.

Are you prepared to pay the massive taxes that would be required to fund the amount of prisons that you appear to wish to have? I know you would like the death sentence, but it is not going to happen because it is not what the majority in the country want. So your constant going on about it makes you feel better but that is the sum total of your rants.
Presumably that is good for you so shouldn't be discouraged.
