Read this on sky and was shocked to the core. As ive said before not only men to blame.I will post a link if you wanna read about this evil woman. Good news is she got 12 years. How could a mother allow this and even watch it happen? To a 12 year old girl its very upsetting , and distressing.

The judge told Dunsmore he had taken into account "public revulsion" at her offences in sentencing her.

i read about this in scotland when i was home.
reading the page on sky upset me very much.
12 years will become 6 .
then she might appeal and be out in 4 .
i know i got abuse in society section on my paedo views.
but surely hanging would be fair for this woman and the men involved?or am i overeacting?
i wait to see what all the dogooders make of this.
will they think 12 years is adequate?

I'm a bit of a dogooder Leg but 12 years. Thats one year for each year of abuse. Its disgusting, I think addicts that rob, or anyone that commits some sort of robbery, people who commit manslaughter or those sorts of crimes should be put in prisons that aim to rehabilitate but people who rape anyone, abuse or hurt children, murder for fun or cause they are evil etc need to be put in some victorian style type prison, tiny cell, ******* in a bucket, minimal food. I cant justify the death sentence as much as I really wish some people werent on the planet, I am quite happy for my money to go towards making the rest of these peoples lives a living hell. Life should mean life and this guy should have got that. Quite happy for them to have the means to kill themselves too.
Someone very close to me was raped at knifepoint but a few years before I was born. She was 15. He went to prison and got out. Seemed to be leading a normal life, got engaged and on the night of his wedding he went out to the pub garden and shot himself. I personally feel that at least that showed he felt some sense of remorse over it.

He shot himself on his wedding night?...so he ruined his new wifes life as well?..if he was locked up for life this wouldn`t have happened

See Elvis, yeah you can look at it like that. Obviously being family Im a little tainted on my views. It was a small village, she knew what he had done, he admitted it in court and to the police. I couldn't marry a rapist did she really expect a happy life with him.

There are some strange folk out there, I read in the paper that Ian Huntley gets money and gifts from wellwishers, so someone marrying a rapist doesn`t sound too suprising, me personally would like to see them jailed for life,but the law`s an a$$ in this country

In our local paper today. A 53 year old man has had his sentence reduced by the appeal court from life to 14 years. His offences were raping a 9 year old girl,raping a 13 year old boy and sexually abusing a 4 year old girl.
The offences were spread over a long period, dating from the 1970s. The reasons given by the appeal court were.
1) He was young when he first offended.
2) He had no previous convictions
3) There were long breaks between the offences.
My opinion
1) So what.
2) and 3) Maybe he hadn't been caught for other offences.
There didn't seem to be any mention of the effect it may have had on his victims.

dana fowley was her name and if you read the article you can see a good thing that has come from all this . there is a woman who waved her right to anonimity, saying her life had been hell, the trial had been hell and the day of the verdict had been hell . but she has took the line of "the buck stops here" and suffered the looks and stares of others so no-one else can be harmed by this lot. singlehandedly she took on the beasts that destroyed her life and smashed their perverted ring to peices so that our children are a little safer.
