Evacuated villages near Sheffield

Does anybody know which 3 villages near the M1/sheffield have been evacuated

We used to drink in a pub near Greenland Close in North Anston just behind a bus stop on the main street before going into Sheffield for the night, I think it was called the duke of...... something or other.
Happy days, it was just before I went off to the 1st Gulf War

The Cutler is just across the road from Greenland Close. There is a pub further up the road from there called the Little Mester, but I don't know of one called Duke of whatever! We have had this house for 7 years (although because OH is in the Army we have only lived here for the last two years) so one of them might have been a Duke of pub before that.

it's small world Kathyan, I don't want to say the name of the girl because she is married with 2 beautiful children now (not mine I hasten to add) and her mum still lives in Greenland close, she was 110% gordiddelyorgeous, I was her 1st love but things changed after I came back from the Gulf and we driffted apart.
Hope you are high + dry Kathyan, you are certainly in a most beautiful part of the world, do you ever walk around the Rother Valley? stunning scenery!!

I've never been to Rother Valley but pass the park on the way to my daughters. I have arthritis so can't walk far anyway! It is lovely round here though. I am from Bolsover and for some reason have always wanted to live here! I think the address sounds really posh! (my OH calls me Hyacinth!)
