I was being sarcastic gina. What I am trying to say is that somehow the Daily Mail has fabricated a whole lot of things, eg a smell of corpse on Kate McCann's clothing, etc.

And people were wondering why the McCanns were asked to stay by the Portugese police..I would have thought it obvious to the parents that they would be needed there in case further evidence/interviews were required.

I find the whole way that this case has been reported and the practical dribbling over each 'new' detail by the media and members of the gneral public both offensive and distasteful.

It's almost titilation the way it has been handled.

This is my opinion. If it causes offence it was unintentionally done. However I will not be apologising for it.

Gina, perhaps 'fabricated' was the wrong word. The Mail has picked up lots from the portuguese 'gutter' press and headlined the things they want to give their account more shock factor. I suggest looking at other news sources to get a fairer idea. Even Sky (who sometimes jump the gun) haven't assumed on this one

i dont read the newspapers so dont know what they say, i watch the news as do most people and like evryone else am entitled to my opinion and have said all along there is something very strange about the case
