Have just heard that the Portugese police are intending to charge Kate McCann in connection with Madeline's disappearance. Is this anything to do with the DNA evidence that was sent for examination in the UK? Anyway, I can't believe that either parent had anything to do with it. What do other AB'ers think?

johnlambert, you dont have to call us t0ssers because we have a different view on it. I watched your link, she looks NERVOUS as Ive said before grief is the hardest emotion to hide, even for a day, never mind months at a time. You cant just switch it off every time you see a film crew, of which there have been plenty.
Even if my view is wrong, its the one I hold judging by what I see and hear, its not based on hope.

I hope i'm wrong JL, but i've just got this gut feeling that they are involved, i thought maybe him, but he seems to be her protected when it comes to the media at present, nothing wrong with that i know, but i just have this gut feeling.

Many replies on here talk about the calmness of the McCanns. He is a heart surgeom, she a GP who both see death on a regular basis. Does that make them more detached from situations that many of us would recoil from?

It's a lot easier to be 'detached' from death if it is not a member of your family. I would have thought, it being their first born, they would have been distraught!
