Do you know, I have not yet heard anything 'official' from the police themselves, just reports from papers. I honestly don't think these bits of information is 100% accurate. The police on the Daily Express played down the 100% DNA match and said it wasn't conclusive!

What on earth these people must be going through! If I'm wrongI'll stand corrected, but I cannot believe that they did it!

Laurence, I have an open mind as there are only a handful of people who really know what happened.

No one can say the parents did/didnt do it, as more and more evidence comes to light then I'll make a decision.

I have always said in other posts that I don't think for one minute they had anything to do with Madeliene's disappearance. I think the Portugese police have been told from a higher authority to bring closure to this case and somehow they have planted evidence. If a quantity of hair was fount perhaps they had earlier access to a hair brush of hers. I don't know but I don't trust the police now and the poor McCanns must be at their wits end.

Just one of many theories going around at the moment I know it may sound stupid, but I also find it hard to believe that the parents managed to hide a dead body for 3 weeks, then load it into the hire car without being seen, all the worlds media were watching their every move, so can anyone give a clue to how they did this.

I don't trust religion, and the McCanns are mad on it. There's something very odd about them, but I'm not saying they did it!

The police are going to search the church in Portugal where the McCanns had keys (so they could pray in peace).

Weeks ago I said that the shutters had not been forced as I have the same type and it was obvious just by looking at them, to force them they would have been wrenched from the frames and would have shown even the slightest sign of buckleing, and the slats (for want of a better word) would have been uneven. Even I could see none of this had occurred.

I think they did do it, everyone is too scared to say it just in case they turn out to be not guilty.
But it is all stacking up against them, also I think from day one they have not really showed any emotion. Tracy Andrews comes to mind!!!!!

You're right Andrea, and it would seem that the tabloids in Portugal are even worse than ours for making up 'facts' to sell their scummy rags.

Speculating on what we all think happened from reading what the papers say is one thing, accusing the family is an entirely different thing. I suspect that those who believe everything they read in the newspapers believe their horoscopes every day and also type in crayon.

what i don't get is they say a 'large amount' of hair surely the car would of been one of the 1st places to look (after it was hired) and found straight away or lets say they did kill her wouldn't they be more careful and NOT leave what sounds like a clump of hair in the car?
