Drug addict video to be shown in schools
Do you think this video should be shown in schools to prevent children taking drugs?
Will it work if they do see it?
I wouldn't object to my son seeing it at high school when he goes next september but I can imagine many parents complaining about it.

This is not a direct link to the video, there is a link in the news article if you wish to view it.It is quite a graphic piece of film(by some standards) so be warned you may be shocked at what you see.

Some addicts are still only children when they start. I think it is right to give children the facts about drugs and showing them a video of an addict does give them this. I think the best ways to help prevent them from becoming addicts is to start very young, helping and supporting parents who need it and listening to and engaging young people, helping them with their problems.
