Should Turkey be denied any chance of entry into the European Union until it accepts its moral responsibility for the Armenian Holocaust during the First World War?

The USA would like Turkey to join as it would put a Muslim state under the auspices of the EU. How convenient! Even Trevor Phillips said multiculturism does not work so why try. We have more in common with Russia as they will supply more than 50% of the EU energy needs so maybe they should be invited first.
Sir Trevor Phillips has never said "Trevor Phillips said multiculturism does not work so why try."
Why would the Russians want to join the EU?
Turkey is an ally and the Americans and anyone else with sense would rather they were in the European fold than to drift into the mire of the middle-east.
Trevor Phillips also once said about the Turks:
"The Spanish Armada's failure might be adjusted to give credit to a part played by Muslims overseas. The Ottoman Turks were persuaded to harass the Spanish fleet by agents of Elizabeth I."
