After a �100,000 re-branding excersise, the Sottish government/parliament/executive or whatever they're calling themselves this week, have come up with the mind- blowing slogan "Welcome to Scotland" Our future is in good hands, well done chaps.

The previous one was "Welcome to the best small country in the world," made me laugh when I arrived at Edinburgh airport from a stag do in HOLLAND!

the full slogan is in fact 'Welcome to Scotland. Please refrain from having sex with your bicycle'.

Can I refer you to a previous answer I wrote (see below). From my observations, it is you who is on here daily bemoaning the state of the country. Apologies to any scottish people, my remark above was merely in jest and was not meant to offend.

"Why do people always threaten to emigrate. And more to the point, why do they never do it. The United Kingdom is a fantastic place to live. I think it is brilliant, unique, beautiful and without doubt a wonderful part of the planet.

I wish I had a pound for everytime a whinging unpatriotic Daily Mail reader threaten to leave the country. I only wish there was a lottery fund to expediate their emigration. The place would be a lot better without them."

hahahaha everyone.....there's nowt wrong with Scottyland thankyou very much.....We are a proud country and we have a lot of famous people....just look at Strictly Come Dancing and X-factor both have scots in them :) :)

the man and woman in the street are free to vote for political parties that promise to barbecue all immigrants; but at election time, most of them don't for some reason. That's democracy for you - terrible system.

It's an absurd waste of money, for people to sit around having meeting upon meeting to decide things like that, usually in hired hotel rooms with coffe and refreshments at our expense. It bugs me.
