Rachel Nickell murder
Can someone please clarify what has happened? I was half watching the news last night and was pretty sure they said they had charged Robert Napper (currently in Bradmoor) for Rachel Nickell's murder. Yet I can't find it on online news sites. BBC has nothin, Sky a bit.
If I am right, isn't this story worthy of headlines? Its one of the highest profile unsolved murders of recent times.

Note that they say nothing about Napper's whereabouts. This will be because such knowledge might prejudice a jury against him if he came to trial, and his lawyers might then be able to use this fact to get him off. So be careful what you say.

I hope if he were guilty that he would escape the charge on a technicality. ie Small fragments of his DNA were found at the murder scene but the technology has only just been improved to decipher it. But remember The McCanns child Madelline had small traces of her DNA in the hired car which can be passed from another person or article and we know it could not have happened.
Who said Colin has received a million, no he has not, not yet, what he endured he deserves more, I hope he gets more. He is unable to get a job, employers see his name and straight away say no, he cannot travel on public transport because of abuse, over the last 15yrs the loss of earnings alone at on average of 20.000 is 300.000 plus all the abuse he and his loved ones have gone through is criminal, I for one hope he can know start to live his life and be happy with his new girlfriend, but I heard she has had her brake pipes cut since the news of Napper being charged
