Fact is that the Mail has in the past repeated stories which have been proven false. The best recent example of which is
this report in which a story from the Sun in June 2003 is repeated. Unfortunately, the Sun's article was also proved almost entirely false at the time...
Napoleon, Hitler, Mao, David Koresh, Jimmy Jones, George W Bush and hundreds of others who became so enamoured with their own self importance they believed their every thought was guided by God.
Napoleon was agnostic, Mao was communist. Hitler is a bit of a grey area, but did believe in some kind of 'destiny' in store for him.
