I tried for yonks to post yesterday with no success. I gave up well after 7 o'clock. But I'm here this morning!
The clouds are whizzing by at a rate of knots, but there are patches of blue. the sun is lighting up the skyline so I think it's going to be OK today.

It looks like there's problems again mr wbm! I can't get on answerbank through my usual route - but I have discovered ways & means of cheating the system....!

I'm only at work til 10 today - then unfortunately I have to go to a funeral. But then it's action stations - packing to go away sailing until Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed for the sun to keep shining and the storms to keep away. x

We are heading off for the Isli of Wiggetti - Cowes & Yarmouth (dancing on tables on Salty's, here we come....), then over to the Beaulieu River & then Lymington. Hopefully - wind tide & weather, injuries & hangovers allowing.

I had a wonderful day thank you Wendi. I was taken to lunch at an old smugglers pub. We have been there before and it is great. The food is excellent, I had venison steak, with seared red cabbage and spinach. Gorgeous! Then we drove back through the Vale of Berkeley, a beautiful place with little hamlets and small villages that look like they should be on a chocolate box.

Good morning waterboatman and all. Site is a bit slow, but maybe the stoker is a bit sleepyhead still and hasn't got around to firing up the boiler yet.
