I can't help but agree. Some nights I lose count of how often I wake up. I must have asked him to turn on to his side at least 4 times last night.
The present Mrs Hughes and I have separate bedrooms.

My lovely wife has ME, so her sleep patterns are all over the place, and she is a very light sleeper at night, so she often likes to read through the night, and she always sleeps with the bedside light on.

I snore because I am a borderline sleep aponea sufferer, so we disturb each other to intolerable levels.

Separate rooms means we both have our own space, and sleep properly and undisturbed.

When we go on holiday, I have a custom-made mouht device which prevents me snoring when we do share a bed, and I put up with her shuffling, rustling the paper, getting up and wandering about, and so on.

Of course, we do 'share' a bed - just not at night time!
does sleeping with someone elses wife count ?
My wife (Elsie) and I have slept in seperate bedrooms for about 15 years.
We both snore so badly it would be hell for the other!
Despite this we ARE still together after 60 years.
I only wish we had an extra bedroom in our house so that I could sleep apart from my fiance!!!
We have seperate beds as mine is an adjustable one...I have to sleep sitting up so that I can breathe.

My fiance snores and has restless leg syndrome so is very noisy all night long,it means I have to go back to bed for a few hours once he has gone to work and our son has gone to school.
