Fair play to him for going on there, at least he`s got the balls to say what he thinks

Whats the main story usualy on q time post office strike its just a get at the bnp session
Unfortunately Question Time tonight clashes with the new series of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', and whilst it would be interesting to finally hear Mr Griffin defend his position, the genius of Larry David HAS to take precedent.
it's actually very boring............there is no debate tonight it's just get at the BNP guy night.....

your right where is the topical debate so loved of qtime
Question Author
So yes no mention of any current news . Wheres my post tomorrow
He appears to be the only one not able to speak without being interrupted.
I would have thought that this odious knuckle-dragger SHOULD be interrupted and refuted and basically broken down on the harsh light of public debate.

Don't make him out to be a victim, this was his big chance to justify his views.

And he looked like an idiot...
Cheeris, it wasn`t his big chance to justify his views, it was his chance to answer questions, which he did openly and honestly, unlike many MPs who go on there and fob questions off with bullshit answers and statistics.

He was a sitting target but he answered every question aimed at him from all sides, like him or loathe him at least he had the balls to say what he thinks.
I agree Elvis.............I don't agree with the BNP's policies but tonight was a travesty of supposed reasoned debate.....worst programme I have seen....

Personally, I find his policies completely shocking and I don't think people who have such poor attitudes and opinions should be able to get away with their actions. However, I do feel the whole thing has turned into a bullying situation. It could have been done in a more mature manner.
He had the balls to say what he thinks? i dont think so - every reminder of previous racist or holocaust denial comment he had every made he ignored or said he was misquoted. He tried to insinuate that his meeting with David Duke was an attempt to moderate the KKK ffs. He refused point blank to answer a question relating to his views on holocaust denial since it might mean he would get shipped off to France or Germany for trial - this despite the fact that the UK justice secretary gave him a free speech guarantee.
False laughter at the various contemptous remarks sent his way only made him seem a simpering sycophant.
He made no valid comments and appeared evasive or just a plain liar, and plainly out of touch with modern day britain.
I was initially concerned at the prospect of the BBC giving the leader of a party with such a divisive and separatist agenda a platform of their views, but in the end he was exposed for what he was, an arrogant buffoon.
Good words LazyGun.

ELVIS68 - I cannot disagree more.

It WAS his chance at justifying his party's stance and policy. He is the leader of a fringe political party who was invited onto a respected debate forum for the first time. A forum where most of the focus was going to be on his party and their policies. How can this be described as anything other than a big chance to justify his views??!?!

Secondly, you say he answered questions openly and honestly. I say he showed himself up on a public forum to be a shifty, evasive guttermonger of emotive clarion-calls and fear-fostering. With a side-salad of blithering ignorance. In other words, pure bullshit. Pure bullshit.

In other words, he DOESN'T have the balls to say what he thinks. He just pushes the buttons of people's insecurities with a hidden agenda of racial purity (whatever that means). Just like Hitler in fact. Except more devious and evasive.
