Aww, poor mite. My heart bleeds for him....................Not!

If only it were 'real napalm.

Hope springs eternal.

Why is it that only proper 'scrotes' tend to mete out 'proper' justice in prisons?

Thoughts?

I sort of thought there might be some slight difference, wizard, but I haven't the experience to be sure. I was hoping Philtaz could give more details on this.
better that than do-badders boasting about how happily they could shoot someone (unarmed and from behind, of course!).
jno,I think that's the least he deserves.!!
You can't defend this man, but then again you can't attack him.
By doing so, the pleasure you get from visualising his torture drags you down to his level.
I upset one of the lads in work ages ago, he had a video of a man get his head cut off, I told him he was no better than paedophile, the only difference being the latter takes their pleasure from torturing a living soul, whilst the former takes their pleasure from a dying one.
They both crave power and the abuse of that power over others.
It's for the state to sanction punishment noone else.
Unsureme - as i carefully stated, I find the sentiments expressed, and the righteous anger that fuels them perfectly understandable, but in a civilised society it is the gulf between 'understandable' and 'acceptable' that defines us.

If it were one of my family, of course i would want revenge, what parent wouldn't, and I have a grandaugher and three grandsons, but I repeat, mindless vengeful spewing of vitriol to strangers solves nothing. The law is what we have - if you want any of the 'punishments' you are so keen to boast of inflicting, lobby your MP for them. That's how democracy works.
The folk who think it right for prisoners to inflict their own "justice", what if it were one of your family in gaol (for whatever reason) being attacked, would you not be wondering about the lack of protection?

Re: My background, I was making reference to 8 years as an infantry soldier, prior to transfer to another Corps.

So, in answer to the question:

Could I shoot someone?

Do me a favour!

In regards to prisons, they're renowned for the ease for which inmates can gain access to mobile phones, drugs etc. Access to courses etc. It's also a well known fact that we spend more daily on feeding a prisoner in this country than we do feeding one of our own Servicemen!
I once visited a German prison in the 90's. I was amazed that inmates had a shower room in the cell, had TV's, fishtanks and fridges!

I also doubt that many child sex offender's here suffer too much anguish or 'live in fear' as a result of Rule 43.

Would you agree that vigilante action is right then? Are there no innocent folk in gaol at the moment? What if the warders administered their own beatings, would that be okay?

Bully for you. Visit an English prison in the year 2010.

No thanks, no need. Got my hols booked already and there aren't any vocational courses I'm interested in at the moment. Already got a mobile phone and I don't do drugs.
Nor do I want any stress counselling.

On second thoughts, it does look rather an attractive proposition! I've not played table tennis in years, could sharpen my skills!

Far, far more humane than the horror, fear, torture and pain he put that toddler through.
Your sentiments and concern for Barker make me want to vomit.
So you could shoot a guy in the back without trouble but someone disagreeing with you makes you want to vomit, Philtaz? You must have an easily upset tummy after all. Any answer to my question about whether you've had experience of either prisons or holiday camps? I'm interested to hear how you know they're the same.

Have a look at the link 2 posts above jno. It's a veritable Butlin's.
What's YOUR experience of prison's then? We're all ears.

Shame Baby P wasn't afforded the same sentiments you share for the monster that tortured him to an agonising death.

Shameful.
