Anyone For "Sarah's Law"?

Yet another kiddie fiddler has managed to ply his evil trade and has been able to groom at least one more innocent child right under its mother's nose. He has been "severely punished" with a wet lettuce leaf and given 4 months inside. (He may well have been released by the time I've finished typing!)

It proves, does it not, that the present system is deeply flawed? Maybe the introduction of "Sarah's Law", where paedos are "named, shamed" and the address of the sewer they're presently living in is made known to the wider community, would nip such atrocities in the bud?

Or do the "bleeding hearts" win the day again by arguing that the "human rights" of the pervert are far more precious than the safety of innocent children? Woops, no, we daren't risk having vigilante patrols on the streets. No, let our kids suffer instead, eh?

And that is why, sp, a lot of straight women are visually attracted to gay men - they take better care of themselves!!
SP, so men only fancy slim females then?

I think not
sp1814, did you notice joeluke's remark on two females together?

"Two women together in fantasy DVD's are ok cos they ain't lesbians they're just doing it for the money"

In other words, for his son to indulge in homosexual acts because he's gay would be Wrong... but if he did it just to make money, that would be okay.

This is a whole new attitude of parenthood to me, and I may have to reboot my computer to take account of it. "My son the gay is sinful, my son the prostitute is fine".
joeluke

You're right that men fancy a whole range of women - from the voluptuous to the petite...but you can guarantee that if Cheryl Cole and Anne Widdicombe went clubbing together, Anne is more likely to be looking after the handbags.

Re: gay men propositioning - there you go...two in two decades. That says it all. You're a regular chap...you're not like a mate of mine who comes from Manchester and has a Christiano Ronaldo physique. Whenever we go out up town, it's almost a given that he'll be eyed up - that's the kind of person that gay men are (generally speaking) drawn to.

His view?

"I take is as a massive compliment when gay men say they fancy me, because I know how flipping choosy they are"

But to backtrack on something I said earlier - there ARE very overweight gay men - they're called 'bears', but that's a subcategory that I would find extremely difficult to explain.
jno

Where did I say I was ok with 2 men together in porn???????

The phrase two WOMEN together is what I said

Try not to alter what people have posted just for your own means of trying to score points against them in future eh?

Thanks ever so much
Double standards?
SP.....Manchester huh? No wonder he gets propositioned a lot

and you? or do you not fit the six pack stereotype they all go for???
ah, right, so we're whittling it down - you'd be okay with it if it was just your daughter. Gay activities for women are okay; but not for men. Exactly Queen Vicotria's attitude, as I recall... you're not a queen by any chance, are you?
jno......you're doing it again

Perhaps I'll start to misinterpret some of your posts huh?
Lol

That was my original question in this thread. Whether it was ok for two women to be together? (male fantasy) Or was it the same for both sexes
I quoted your post above, joeluke, so I'll do it again

"Two women together in fantasy DVD's are ok"

So it's okay for women but not for men? Or is that somehow *not* what you're saying?
Don't remember mentioning my daughter though, do you?
OK. Joe Luke. If your daughter were gay would you disown her as well?
I didn't know you had a daughter. So it's just other men's daughters you'd watch?
But I forget, your daughter wouldn't be gay would she because she would be brought up properly.

I have a cousin. Two of her children are straight and the other one gay. They all had a very good upbringing and have the same moral standards. They are all very respectable and likeable people and all have partners. All of them are equally treated by the rest of the family. What you advocate is that one of them should have been disowned?
I've only just tuned into his thread, so haven't read all the posts - far too many to go thro'! However, I cannot believe that anyone who loved their children 'unconditionally' would shun them if they came out as gay!

We have two daughters, both straight & married with two children each. If either had informed us that they were gay, even now, we would initially be shocked & upset, but it wouldn't change our love for them!

Who cares what other people think?!
BTW, one of my sisters (who lives in WA) had an inkling that one of her sons was gay from in his mid teens. This young lad (now in his early 50's) went on to be a brilliant musician & we are all very proud of him, especially his parents.

I'd love to be able to play piano like him!
I wouldn't be shocked Smudge so much as upset. But upset for them because they might encounter the Joe Luke's of this world. One of my closest friends is gay and she was in tears when she told me after I had known her for some years because she thought I might not want her friendship any more. She needn't have worried, it made no difference whatsoever (and I wasn't at all worried that she might fancy me either!! :o) ). She is still a dear friend.

(We both come from a generation where it wasn't brought out in the open - hence the tears when she told me She sat me down and said she had something to 'confess'!! I thought she was going to tell me something horrible. She had nothing to 'confess' about. )
I know what you mean Lottie. What I meant was, that if we hadn't had the slightest inkling, we'd have been shocked (which we would have got over). But if we'd have had inklings, then we would have been, let's say, surprised.

I really do feel for anyone who's too embarrassed to tell their parents & others, that they are gay & tries to harbour their little 'secret' alone.

The story of the brilliant, although eccentric, Alan Turing (1912-54) is a classic example - he eventually commited suicide, mainly because he was shunned for being gay. Poor man!
Smudge Turing was not "shunned" for being Gay

He was prosecuted for it and told he'd go to prison unless he let them inject him with Hormones.

He did - eventually he killed himself
