It might be a lot of money but we are all interested in what is going on as these men have families just like us.We would not get every detail withour our tv crews over there.I hope and pray they all get out safely.

I cannot imagine the ordeal they and their families have been through. I don't care how much they spend on coverage - I'm more interested in their plight than the plethora of sh!t they broadcast in the name of "entertainment".

There is absolutely no need for this BBC jolly.

It will be adaquately covered by Chilean TV and available globally.

There will be the usual dumaaass questions from the BBC if they get to speak to a miner or a family membber "how are you feeling " etc etc

I don't think they will have been practising English for when they come up to meet the BBC. Those poor men have been trapped underground all this time, the last thing they really want is a microphone stuck in their face as soon as they surface.

I'm surprised we haven't seen George Alagiah or Hew Edwards over there yet. Maybe when the miners come out they will be there to ask them stupid questions such as, how was it down there?

I agree it's an obscene waste of licence payers cash.

i agree i pray their rescue mission is a success but for licence payers to pay for that is stupid !!
