We knew we were in for cuts by this Government but to see students lighting fires outside Tory HQ and smashing the windows of Millbank Towers in London is, quite frankly, sickening, it's like looking at mob rule, what they expect to achieve by their thug-like actions, I don't know!

Now that we are friends with the French again and have agreed various partnerships with regard to defence etc would it not be a good gesture from President Sarkozy to loan us the CRS to control and disperse this bunch of usual "protesters" who seem to be the usual "rent-a-mob" intent on any form of confrontation with authority?

And some people just sit and post on message boards about how shocking and disgusting things are and do nothing, thus letting MPs get away with breaking their promises because of their inaction.

Back then lots of policemen made a fortune in overtime. They also had the opportunity to strike a blow or two for Maggie.

I'm worried... My 8 year old is in London on a school trip :(
Squad she is studying English and Psychology at Canturbury - She is also doing some sort of make up course that has media in it.

She is in her 2nd year her time table consists in a usual week of three day Wednesday to Friday but only Friday is 10-6 this is entirely the universities decision, she now commutes because she doesn't want to increase her debts anymore than she has to.

The university cancelled wed and thur 3 weeks ago and this week for reasons that seem very unclear to me, but you can't question a 19 year old once she gives her answers but I am somewhat annoyed
Dave......then you need to contact her tutor or the Dean of the Faculty for an explanation.
