Another Man In Pub....

One hot, sunny day I walked into a pub, in a small fishing village in New England.
When my eyes became accustomed to the dim lights inside the bar, I noticed that there was a guy standing next to me at the bar, who looked remarkably like a swash-buckling pirate from some old movie.

Feeling a little awkward and uncomfortable in the silence, I decided to strike up conversation with him.

Nice pair of ear rings, I blurted out!

Yeah, got down at the market, only a dollar each, he replied.

really I said that's pretty good for a buck an ear.
